Polyethylene Closed Cell Foam
Polyethylene Foam, also known as PE, is a strong
resilient closed cell foam. Used for shock absorbing,
vibration dampening, loose fill, and its most common
use:cushioning products in packaging applications.
Polyethylene is lightweight, shatter proof, flexible, costeffective, and impervious to mildew, mold, rot,and
bacteria.
DUROFLEX
The non cross linked, extruded,
expanded cellular polyethylene foam having excellent characteristics
of shock absorption, high
flexibility and resiliency, non abrasive surface, low thermal
conductivity,almost
moisture absorption with biochemically inert,behaviors
suits best for the following purpose.
DUROFLEX-Single Layer
It is a directly extrude mono layer
expanded
cellular polyethylene foam
available in thickness
of 1mm to 4mm, wide 1500mm in a
continuous
role
foam and slitted perforated rolls.
DUROFLEX-Multi Layer
It is a multilayered expanded cellular polyethylene
foam available in thickness of 5 mm to 12 mm in
continuous roll form. The each
individual
layer,
has a fine cell structure and is laminated by a
special hot air
welding
process to produce homo
genous micro cellular composited having unique
property of high resilience with a smooth and soft
surface finish.
Application
A . Packing
TV computer/monitors, refrigerators, washing
machines
electronic
equipments, glass ware,
ceramics, polyester yarn/film,
handicrafts,
printers, ups, currency teller machines, diagnostic
kits, and
surgical
equipment’s and other fragile
and delicate products. In
electronic equipments as
corner pads, buffers, encapsulation
bocks, ribs,
and
support pads, adhesive backed sheets etc.
B . Insulation
Paramount EPE rolls and insulation tubes are being
used widely for
insulation of window. Split
A.C. Air
handling units and A.C. Ducting,
industrial chillers,
cold storage’s and
refrigerated vans/containers and
industrial refrigerators, cold water pipe
and
high altitude drinking water
pipe insulation.
C . Automobiles
Roof top, engine, bonnet and drivers cabin
insulation, door panel
and seat lining, floor
mats, carpet underlay, upholstery, sun
visors
and
car A.C insulation etc.
D . Construction
Paramount RWP a closed cell extrude product,
reinforced
with a special
water impermeable
polymeric inter lay with almost, negligible water
vapor absorption, diffusion and transmission rates
is being used succesfully
in
industry, witch offers
dual benefit of water
proofing cum roof thermal
insulation on RCC roofs, making it cost effective,
paramount back up
rods find application in
expansion joints, anti-vibration in
roofs, walls,
tunnels, bridges, highways, etc, As a gasketing
material in
pre-fabricated
house, window frames
and glass reinforcement etc. As a sealant for
water
reservoirs, pools and channels.
E . Sports
Wresting, judo, gymnastics, taekwondo, and
jogging exercise mats, Leg and thigh guards,
arm elbow/shoulder
pads. Helmat, sleeping
bags
lining, sk/belts, life saving, glove and
costume insulation.
F . Miscellaneous
Carpet underlay, shoes, foam, floaters of
effluent
treatment plants
and distilleries, luggage and
leather bag lining, caps, rakhees and
jewelry
boxes, leather jackets, floppy disk mailers,
picnic and garden mats, mattresses and many
more.
Feature :
Cushioning Property
Due to its micro cellular structure, paramount is
highly resilient having high vibration dampeing and
shock absorption properties
to meat all packing needs.
Flexibility
Being highly flexible, it can be used in wrap
around applications with ease.
Resilience
Due to it's high resiliency, product recovers it's
original shape after ahock or removal of load.
Light Weight
Extremely light in weight thus saves cost of
handling, transportation and postage.
Easy to Fabricate
Without expensive and complex moulds, paramount
can be easily fabricated in comples shapes and structures.
Non abrasive surface
Paramount has zero abrasion surface and it's very
soft and smooth surface gives complete protection
against scratches and
abrasive marks.
Thermal Insulation,
Service Temperature and Moisture Absorption
Due to its extremely low thermal conductivity
value, almost zero moisture absorption and varied
working temperature ranging
from-35 deg c to +70 deg c,
paramount proved to be an excellent
insulating and water proofing materials in
comparison to the
conventional alternative
available in the market.
