  At Lumbini Coir Industries the entire production is closely controlled with maximum in house operations.
  Raw material procurement, quality control and treatment processrs like latex compounding, rubberizing,
  hot pressing, cutting, quilting, finishing and packaging are all done using modern machines supervised by
  skilled personal.onal.
  Lumbini Coir Industrious gets its natural latex from selected plantation areas. This then checked for
  purity  and visco-elastic properties.

  Coconut fibre (coir) is the most important raw material, obtained
  as curved or twisted ropes. It is cured in a hot chamber for 48
  hours to give it a natural  curl,  hardness and enhanced  bounce.
  These  ropes are  then opened with a special machine to take on a
  natural spring structure.
  These ropes are carded and arranged in fleeces which are sprayed
  with natural latex to form sheets that are dried and cut. These
  fleeces are then placed in layers, hot pressed and vulcanized.
  Finally the sheets are  machine  cut  to  specified  dimensions. The
  result is a resilient  form that lasts long and has a high level of
  firmness, non-absorbent, allows air circulation and provides
  natural comfort.
